Overview
Trading is the business S&R started with in 1999 and it still sits underneath everything else. FMCG lines moved through West and Central Africa first, and the retail, manufacturing and industrial businesses were built on top of the distribution routes and customer relationships that trading established.
S&R operates more than 40 retail and wholesale outlets across its markets. In Angola the network runs through Luanda, Cabinda, Huambo and Lobito, with the supermarket business concentrated in the coastal and provincial cities. In the Republic of the Congo, wholesale operations cover Pointe-Noire, Brazzaville and Dolisie.
